Considering the speed (38mph), the distance (1300 miles) and a 5 hour good weather window per day the trip will
take about 7-8 days, landing on country roads and small airfields. The permitted amount of fuel is 5 gal for these
type of planes which gives a 2 hour safe flight time. Between flights it will be an interesting challenge to find fuel.
The accommodation: tent and sleeping bag. Gear: tools, spares and a minimalist approach to comfort. I can carry
about 30 lbs of gear so every bit of unnecessary stuff has to stay on the ground.
